Missions

Westwood operates based on Acts 1:8- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.

This is exactly what we try to do. Westwood has participated in several different mission trips over the past several years. First, in 2000, Westwood took a group to Colombia. The next year, in 2001, they traveled to Panama. Following that they went on consecutive trips across the border into Mexico. Over the past year, Westwood has made it a top priority to minister to those closer to us. That's why we have made, and continue to make, monthly trips to Waveland in order to work with our brothers and sisters who are still recovering from Hurricane Katrina.

Westwood has also offered support to our own Jessica Schnoor who has represented her college in places such as Africa and China. We truly believe that people all over the world need to hear about the love of Christ.
